Sweet Deer Card/Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi friends, Happy Thanksgiving! I just wanted to pop in today and share a little something, if you are an American, I sure hope you are stuffing yourself with turkey and pumpkin pie today! :)

Here is a sweet deer card I made a few weeks ago that I hadn't shared yet. I used TCP Fancy Flip and Fancy flip Frames CutUps and Lawn Fawn stamps/papers. The leaf embellie was cut on my Silhouette and I was BLOWN AWAY that it cut that teeny vein on the leaf without tearing it. Whoa.

I am so very thankful for my hubby, my boys, my family, my dear friends, and YOU! Happy Thanksgiving "deer" blog friends!! :)

Sneaky Peek Week Day 6: Handmade For You

Hi Friends! Welcome to Day 6 of The Cat's Pajamas Sneaky Peek Week.

Today, we are peeking a really awesome set for holiday giving, particularly good for those of us who like to make our gifts! It's called "Handmade For You."

I used one of the Cutables we are offering with this release, it's called the K Cup Carryall! Super cute, Alma has a video to show you right here.

I made a little set to gift. This will probably go to a neighbor, or to one of the boys teachers.

Here's a few more shots of the K Cup CarryAll:

I stamped my images on some printable canvas that I cut on my Silhouette, I liked the rustic feel the canvas added to my project. Also, because I was using the muslin bags, I felt it coordinated nicely. The muslin bags are food grade and are available right here. You can stamp them, ink them and customize them in a lot of ways!

I used the Luggage Tags CutUps, and some Brown Sugar Divine Twine on my project, too.

Of course, painted jingle bells are the perfect accent for a holiday giftie! I sure hope you like my project. Don't forget to go check out what my DT buds have in store today. :)

and our PJ Party!!

Have a fabulous day!

Sneaky Peek Week Day Four: Pray For Snow

Hi friends, I sure hope you are enjoying this FUN Release Week we are having at The Cat's Pajamas!
Today, we are Peeking a SUPER cute penguin set called "Pray For Snow."

I also used one of our new dies on the interior of this card, it's called the Pop Up Pivot. Alma has a video right here to show you how it works! :)

I didn't fussy cut these penguins or sentiment. I used the FREE Cutables we offer that coordinate with our stamps. Easy peasy on the Silhouette! :)

I used the Holiday Toppers CutUps and some white glitter paper to create my frozen pond.

You may have noticed, I did some reverse stamping with the green penguin to make him look as if he is skating the other way. A detailed description of how to reverse stamp can be found on my blog at this post.  It's a fun technique that can make all the difference on a card like this :)

Thanks for stopping by! Be sure and check out what the other Cat Packers have in store for you today! :)

Sneaky Peek Week Day Two: A Home For All Seasons

Hi there, Blog Friends! Welcome to Day 2 of The Cat's Pajamas Sneaky Peek Week!
Hope you enjoyed yesterday's Peek. Today we are Peeking an AWESOME versatile set called "A Home For All Seasons. It also has coordinating dies called "Village."

I REALLY had fun with this card, my last fall card of the year, I believe! Especailly since we have hit the DEEP FREEZE here in CO. It feels like January, not November, BRRRR.

I used our one of our new Cutables, the Triple Side Step Cutable and cut this card and mats on my Silhouette, so easy peasy! :) Alma has a video right here to show you how to fold it!

I really like how stamping the sentiment on the little house turned out. :) I also used the Cloud Border CutUps for creating my little scene. :)

This set would also make BEAUTIFUL holiday cards, many of my DT buds have some to show you so go check it, crafty peeps! :)

I will be back soon with some more fun Peeks!
